Role Description
As a Program Management Intern, you will assist in planning, coordinating, and evaluating IaMig’s programs to ensure efficiency and impact.
- Project Coordination: Support program planning, timelines, and implementation.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Assist in communicating with partners, donors, and beneficiaries.
- Performance Monitoring: Track program progress and help compile reports.
- Resource Allocation: Assist in managing budgets, materials, and logistics.
- Process Improvement: Suggest and implement improvements to optimize program efficiency.
Time Commitment: Flexible, with a minimum of 10 hours per week.
Location: Online and in-person options available.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma plus a diploma in a relevant area (or associate degree).
- Bachelor’s degree in management, social work, or related fields (preferred but not required).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Basic knowledge of project management principles.
- Commitment to supporting IaMig’s mission.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Experience in program or project management.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Trello, Asana).
- Ability to analyze data and compile reports effectively.
Language Requirements
- Fluency in the local language of your canton (French, German, Italian, or Romansh).
- Basic proficiency in English for internal communication at IaMig.
- Additional language pairs such as Arabic or Spanish are a plus.
Experience Level
- Applicants with an associate degree or diploma in the field are eligible.
- Bachelor's degree holders with some relevant experience are preferred.
- Previous internship or volunteer experience in project management is valued.
