Program Management Intern

Role Description

As a Program Management Intern, you will assist in planning, coordinating, and evaluating IaMig’s programs to ensure efficiency and impact.

  • Project Coordination: Support program planning, timelines, and implementation.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Assist in communicating with partners, donors, and beneficiaries.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track program progress and help compile reports.
  • Resource Allocation: Assist in managing budgets, materials, and logistics.
  • Process Improvement: Suggest and implement improvements to optimize program efficiency.

Time Commitment: Flexible, with a minimum of 10 hours per week.

Location: Online and in-person options available.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma plus a diploma in a relevant area (or associate degree).
  • Bachelor’s degree in management, social work, or related fields (preferred but not required).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Basic knowledge of project management principles.
  • Commitment to supporting IaMig’s mission.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Experience in program or project management.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Trello, Asana).
  • Ability to analyze data and compile reports effectively.

Language Requirements

  • Fluency in the local language of your canton (French, German, Italian, or Romansh).
  • Basic proficiency in English for internal communication at IaMig.
  • Additional language pairs such as Arabic or Spanish are a plus.

Experience Level

  • Applicants with an associate degree or diploma in the field are eligible.
  • Bachelor's degree holders with some relevant experience are preferred.
  • Previous internship or volunteer experience in project management is valued.
