We are looking for passionate instructors to join IaMig and help empower our learners. Whether online or in-person, you will play a critical role in making a positive impact.
Role Overview
As an instructor at IaMig, you will have the opportunity to teach and inspire individuals from diverse backgrounds. Your expertise in your subject area will help bridge gaps in knowledge, promote cultural integration, and contribute to the development of our learners.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans tailored to students' needs.
- Provide constructive feedback to help students improve and grow.
- Use innovative teaching strategies to create an inclusive and dynamic learning environment.
- Assess students' progress and adapt teaching methods as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in the relevant subject area (Master's preferred).
- Prior teaching experience (minimum 2 years for Bachelor's holders, 1 year for Master's holders).
- Fluency in the local language of the applicant's canton (French, German, Italian, or Romansh).
- Basic communication skills in English (IaMig's primary communication language).
- Additional language proficiency (e.g., Arabic, Spanish) is a plus.
Additional Requirements
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in using online teaching platforms (for online roles).
- Flexibility to accommodate varying schedules, including evenings and weekends.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and respectful learning environment.
