Role Description
As an HR Manager/HR Personnel Volunteer, you will play a key role in supporting our team through effective human resource management.
- Volunteer Recruitment: Assist in identifying and onboarding new volunteers.
- HR Administration: Support in maintaining personnel records and managing volunteer files.
- Training & Development: Help create and deliver training programs for volunteers.
- Volunteer Engagement: Foster a positive environment for volunteers through engagement activities.
- Policy Implementation: Assist in implementing HR policies and best practices.
Time Commitment: Flexible, with a minimum of 5 hours per week.
Location: Online and in-person options available.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience or training in HR, volunteer management, or related fields (preferred but not required).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Commitment to supporting IaMig’s mission.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Experience in HR administration or volunteer coordination.
- Basic knowledge of HR policies and procedures.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse environment.
Language Requirements
- Fluency in the local language of your canton (French, German, Italian, or Romansh).
- Basic proficiency in English for internal communication at IaMig.
- Additional language pairs such as Arabic or Spanish are a plus.
Experience Level
- No specific experience required, training will be provided.
- Previous volunteer or administrative experience is valued.
- A willingness to learn and contribute to HR operations.
