Assist IaMig with essential administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations and effective support for migrants.

Role Description
As an Administrative Support volunteer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficiency and organization of IaMig’s daily operations.
- Office Assistance: Support daily administrative tasks such as data entry, document preparation, and scheduling.
- Client Support: Assist in responding to inquiries and guiding migrants through administrative procedures.
- Record Management: Help organize and maintain files, databases, and reports.
- Event Coordination: Provide logistical support for meetings and community events.
- General Support: Assist staff with operational tasks to enhance efficiency.
Time Commitment: Flexible, with a minimum of 6 hours per month.
Location: Online and in-person options available.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
- Master’s degree holders are encouraged to apply; no prior experience required.
- Proficiency in office software (MS Office, Google Workspace, etc.).
- Commitment to supporting IaMig’s mission and administrative efficiency.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Experience in administrative, clerical, or customer service roles.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Language Requirements
- Fluency in the local language of your canton (French, German, Italian, or Romansh).
- Basic proficiency in English for internal communication at IaMig.
- Additional language pairs such as Arabic or Spanish are a plus.
Experience Level
- Minimum of 2 years for high school diploma holders.
- Minimum of 1 year for bachelor's degree holders.
- No experience required for master’s degree holders.
- Volunteer experience in administrative work is highly valued.
